Biography

Street artist Millo, born Francesco Camillo Giogino in Italy, predominantly creates multi-storied murals of monochromatic black and white lines, sometimes adding a splash of colour to give his child-like creatures a livelier look. He cooperated with URBAN NATION on several occasions, for example on the 2018 MURAL MADNESS project.

His innocent and childlike looking giants are often portrait in playful situations among cityscapes, discovering their surroundings. The architectural element in his work being remnant of his time as a student of architecture, it doesn’t come as a surprise that many of these creatures even interact with the actual architecture surrounding them.

With his work, Millo attempts to portrait the purest part of humans, enjoyment and play, something we seem to have forgotten with growing up. While he had actually never planned on becoming an artist, he was truly encompassed and allured him to the art of painting during his studies and stuck with it.
